100 contingents from Sikkim State for 26th National Youth Festival reached Hubballi, Dharwad Karnataka. The said participants will take part in various dance and song competitions with the rest of the states.
Lalit Pokhrel Sharma, team leader through press release stated that the participants will be taking part in various folk dance and song competitions along with other various non-competitive events.
The 26th edition of National Youth Festival 2023 starts from January 12 till 16 January 2023. The National Youth Festival in India is an annual gathering of youth with various activities including competitive ones. It is organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in collaboration with State Governments.
The centre of the festival focuses on cultural aspects and a number of other programmes covering a wide variety of activities, besides all this, this festival provides a nationwide exposure to the youth for the expression and fulfillment of their cultural talents and aspirations.
