Sikkim reported 43 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 31014 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 627.
A total of 70 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 29700. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 96.7% and the Positivity rate at 8.4%. No deaths were reported, so the death toll stands at 380.
The East District recorded 29 new cases, the West District recorded 08, the South District recorded 05 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 508 samples were tested, 214 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 16 tested Covid-19 positive. 04 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case were reported and 290 tests through RT-PCR out of which 27 tested positive.
