Sikkim reported 179 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 25339 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2970.
A total of 222 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 21771. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 87% and the Positivity rate at 12.5%. 01 death was reported and the death toll stands at 331.
The East District recorded 21 new cases, the West District recorded 115, the South District recorded 41 and the north district recorded 05 new cases.
A total of 1427 samples were tested, 329 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 39 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case were reported and 1095 tests through RT-PCR out of which 140 tested positive.
