Sikkim reported 157 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 23237 cases, currently, active stand at 2256.
A total of 219 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 20400. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 88.8 % and the Positivity rate at 15.4%. 02 deaths were reported, and the death toll stands at 321.
The East District recorded 71 new cases, the West District recorded 30, the South District recorded 55 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 1014 samples were tested, 377 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 61 tested Covid-19 positive. 01 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive cases were reported and 636 through RT-PCR out of which 96 tested positive.
