Sikkim reported 217 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 27342 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 3404.
A total of 210 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 23312. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 86.1% and the Positivity rate at 15% no death was reported, and the death toll stands at 349.
The East District recorded 80 new cases, the West District recorded 78, the South District recorded 58 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 1441 samples were tested, 646 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 108 tested Covid-19 positive. 04 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case were reported and 791 tests through RT-PCR out of which 109 tested positive.
