Sikkim reported 150 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 28425 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2345.
A total of 202 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 25441. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 90% and the Positivity rate at 10.8%. No deaths were reported so the death toll stands at 360.
The East District recorded 33 new cases, the West District recorded 36, the South District recorded 81 and the north district recorded no new cases.
A total of 1379 samples were tested, 623 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 70 tested Covid-19 positive. 12 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case were reported and 744 tests through RT-PCR out of which 80 tested positive.
