Sikkim reported 240 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 25856 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 3117.
A total of 198 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 22139. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 86.5% and the Positivity rate at 9.6%. no death was reported, and the death toll stands at 333.
The East District recorded 62 new cases, the West District recorded 111, the South District recorded 52 and the north district recorded 15 new cases.
A total of 2495 samples were tested, 1463 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 175 tested Covid-19 positive. 08 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case were reported and 1024 tests through RT-PCR out of which 65 tested positive.
