Sikkim reported 225 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 24823 cases, currently, active stand at 2849.
A total of 171 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 21380. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 87% and the Positivity rate at 11.4 %. 01 death was reported and the death toll stands at 330.
The East District recorded 72 new cases, the West District recorded 81, the South District recorded 72 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 1972 samples were tested, 1185 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 137 tested Covid-19 positive. 08 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case was reported and 779 through RT-PCR out of which 88 tested positive.
