Sikkim reported 227 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 25616 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 3075.
A total of 170 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 21941. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 86.5% and the Positivity rate at 15.5%. 02 death were reported, and the death toll stands at 333.
The East District recorded 98 new cases, the West District recorded 101, the South District recorded 78 and the north district recorded no new cases.
A total of 1789 samples were tested, 848 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 123 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 938 tests through RT-PCR out of which 153 tested positive.
