Sikkim reported 226 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 22623 cases, currently, active stand at 2281.
A total of 170 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 19767. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 88.3 % and the Positivity rate at 28.3 %. No deaths were reported, and the death toll stands at 317.
The East District recorded 144 new cases, the West District recorded 40, the South District recorded 41 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 796 samples were tested, 276 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT, out of which 89 tested Covid-19 positive. 04 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive case were reported and 416 through RT-PCR out of which 137 tested positive.
