Sikkim reported 337 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 25160 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 3017.
A total of 169 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 21549. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 86.6% and the Positivity rate at 16%. No deaths were reported so the death toll stands at 330.
The East District recorded 168 new cases, the West District recorded 139, the South District recorded 29 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 2093 samples were tested, 845 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 148 tested Covid-19 positive. 08 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 1240 tests through RT-PCR out of which 188 tested positive.
