Sikkim reported 257 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 23649 cases, currently, active stand at 2429.
A total of 136 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 20634. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 88.2 % and the Positivity rate at 19.2 %. No deaths were reported, so the death toll stands at 324.
The East District recorded 65 new cases, the West District recorded 111, the South District recorded 80 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 1335 samples were tested, 131 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 45 tested Covid-19 positive. 06 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 1198 through RT-PCR out of which 211 tested positive.
