Government of India MSME- Development and Facilitation Office Gangtok in Association with SEED CELL organised a one-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Program in coordination with the newly elected Zilla Panchayat and Panchayat Members at East Pendam GPU, Panchayat Office, on January 18, 2023.
Focusing upon the Central and State Flagship Subsidy Schemes viz. MSME Central Schemes, PMEGP, SYSS and Bank related Schemes the meeting had the presence of Joint Director MSME, Assistant Director MSME, Inspector Commerce and Industries Government of Sikkim, official from KVIC, official from Lead Bank (SBI), Zilla Panchayat, Panchayat President, Member Panchayats and Locals.
The meeting highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship, loan process and promotion of business of Becoming self- reliant.
Vice- Cheif Coordinator Dipen Subba from SEED CELL, highlighted the three layer work modules of SEEDCELL and highlighted Honourable Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Mission and Vision of Developing rural Entrepreneurs.
Vice- Cheif Coordinator further explained how SEEDCELL is committed in creating an Ecosystem of Entrepreneurs and working in bridging the gap between Existing and Aspiring Entrepreneurs.
Established Entrepreneurs in Sikkim are actively involved in developing the identity for business Activities and hence, have welcomed the Mission and vision of HCM “One Family One Entrepreneur”.
Such programs gives moral boost to the individuals.
