Sikkim Entrepreneurship & Economic Development (SEED) Cell has been enrolled as an annual member of Federation of Small & Medium Industries (FOSMI), WB, with effect April 26, 2024.
“This is to certify that Sikkim Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (SEED) Society of 5th Mile, Tadong Metro, Gangtok, Sikkim, has been enrolled as an Annual / Association member of Federation with effect from 26.04.2024 and is allotted Membership No. 1947/2024-25”, read the Certificate of Membership by FOSMI.
“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team behind SEED Cell”, said Raj Lama, Chief Coordinator of SEED Cell.
“Congratulations on this accomplishment”, he added.
SEED Cell is an organisation under the patronage of Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang that works exclusively to empower and encourage urban and rural entrepreneurs from the state.
“Our effort is directed towards discovering new opportunities for unemployed youths to become self-reliant and help them build sustainable and scalable businesses”, reads SEED Cell’s official website.
Federation of Small and Medium Industries WB is an organisation “exclusively devoted to the development of small industries” and has “established itself as a nodal point between the MSME sector and the government”.
According to FOSMI website, it boasts a membership of over 1,200 entrepreneurs, affiliate members and 20 dynamic associations representing “groups of enterprises in different segments”.
