P.S Golay: Pledged to fulfil promises made to people.
On Thursday Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang attended the 9th SKM foundation day celebration at Poklong-Kamrang not only as the state’s CM but also as the President of Sikkim Krantikai Morcha.
The celebration of SKM 9th foundation day was held at Assangthang Helipad near Namchi helipad, similarly several other programs were held all across the state by the SKM committees at constiuiency level.
Chief Minister addressing the gathering thanked the supporters and party workers across the state. He also congratulated all his supporters for their constant support and also recalled about the hardships and struggles the party faced during the early years.
Tamang asked the party workers to renew their membership and take active participation towards the organisational strength of the SKM party. He requested all the workers to follow the ideologies and guidelines of the SKM party and to work for the growth, development and well-being of the state.
Tamang in his Facebook page shared more about his speech at Assangthang “We have always believed in continuously working towards the upliftment of weaker sections of the society, giving our people a fair and fearless environment to live-in.
I remembered the contributions of all those who were instrumental in bringing our SKM party to this level and thanked each and every one of their efforts and contributions. I informed the gathering how our SKM party climbed the ladder of success and urged the people to remain humble and committed towards the party and work without any personal interest but for the upliftment of our party and our people.”
“I also reiterated that our government is serious and leaving no stone unturned to give tribal status to 12 left-out communities and reservation of seats for Limboo and Tamang communities in Sikkim Legislative Assembly.”

Even during the global pandemic of Covid-19 which created lots of hindrances in our path of development, our government was able to deliver and fulfil our commitment to our people.”
