Sikkim reported 115 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 37096 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2107.
A total of 331 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 33987. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 93.1% and the Positivity rate at 18.5%. 01 death was reported, and the death toll stands at 423.
The East District recorded 62 new cases, the West District recorded 45, the South District recorded 07 and the north district recorded 01 new cases.
A total of 620 samples were tested, 504 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 77 tested Covid-19 positive. 03 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 01 positive case was reported and 113 tests through RT-PCR out of which 37 tested positive.
