Sikkim reported 323 new positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 36421 cases, currently active cases tally stands at 2457.
A total of 284 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative tally of recovered cases to 33023. Likewise, The recovery rate to date stands at 92% and the Positivity rate at 26.4% . 02 deaths was reported, and the death toll stands at 419.
The East District recorded 243 new cases, the West District recorded 42, the South District recorded 31 and the north district recorded 07 new cases.
A total of 1223 samples were tested, 949 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 208 tested Covid-19 positive. 04 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which 02 positive case was reported and 270 tests through RT-PCR out of which 113 tested positive.
