Sikkim reported 170 daily positive cases taking the state’s cumulative count to 20111 cases, currently, active stand at 2137.
A total of 203 COVID-19 patients recovered today taking the state’s cumulative recovered cases to 17421. Likewise, the recovery rate to date stands at 86.6% and the Positivity rate at 20.8%.
The East District recorded 65 new cases, the West District recorded 55, the South District recorded 50 and the north district recorded no new cases.
A total of 817 samples was tested, 278 samples through Rapid Antigen Test RAT out of which 54 tested Covid-19 positive. 07 samples through TRUNAT/ CBNAAT out of which no positive cases were reported and 532 through RT-PCR out of which 116 tested positive.
09 new patients have been admitted at STNM, District Covid-19 Hospital.
