A 51 year old man has been charged with POCSO Act for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17 year old minor in Pakyong district.
As per Sikkim police report, ” on 08.12.2023, one minor Child aged about 17 years appeared at PS along with her mother and verbally stated that she has been subjected to sexual assaulted since 2022 by a 51 year old man in pretext of imparting her spiritual knowledge in a temple located in their locality”
Further, on basis of the complaint, 51 year old has been arrested and booked under POCSO Act 2012, investigation underway
