Globally, as of 11 September 2020, according to reports from WHO, there have been 28,040,853 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 906,092 deaths.

The total cases in India tally at 46,59,985 cases in which i 9,58,316 are active cases, 36,24,197 cured/discharged/migrated and 77,472 deaths, according to the Ministry of Health, India.
However there’s a silver lining to this, with more tests in the nation, it was bound to have repercussions of more cases to turn up and with that more recoveries as well. As of 12th September India's COVID-19 case tally crosses 46 lakh mark with the highest single-day spike of 97,570 new cases and 1,201 deaths reported in the last 24 hours the Covid-19 case tally stands at 46,59,984 in the country. With that, India reported a record 81,533 recoveries in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. India's recovery rate stood at 77.77 per cent on Saturday morning, while the fatality rate was recorded at 1.6 per cent.
